Brake and clutch hydraulics

The hydraulic system in a car is directly responsible for controlling the brakes, and sometimes also for controlling the clutch system. This is why it is so important to choose the right products that meet the highest quality standards.

The parts responsible for the brake hydraulics in a car include master cylinders, brake master cylinders and brake hoses.

The master cylinder is responsible for generating hydraulic pressure which, via the brake fluid, is transferred to the brake callipers on disc brakes or to the brake cylinders on drum brakes. Similarly, in the case of the clutch system, the clutch pump generates pressure in the system and, via the hydraulic fluid, exerts pressure on the clutch slave cylinder (clutch actuator) which, by pressing down on the clutch foot, allows the clutch to be disengaged, i.e. the disc is released from the clutch.
